Perillä ollaan Sri Lankassa! Suunnattiin lentokentältä suoraan Kandyyn, jossa oltiin iltapäivästä perillä. Varattiin täältä etukäteen hotelli, joka osoittautui mitä sympaattisimmaksi paikaksi. Omistaja näytti meille hänen puutarhan aarteensa, joka oli täynnä ihania kasveja, yrttejä, hedelmiä yms. Tänään aamulla saatiin privaatti aamupala ja päästiin myös seurailemaan aamupalan tekoa. Suosittelen todella lämpimästi tätä Majestic tourist hotellia. Tulemme tänne ehdottomasti uudestaan seuraavalla Sri Lankan reissulla.

Here we are in Sri Lanka! We drove straight to Kandy from the airport where we are going to spent the first night. We had a great stay in a cute little hotel that had amazing staff and owner who showed us his garden where he grows all the spices and herbs he uses in the restaurant. This morning we were also able to take part of preparing the breakfast. It was amazing to see how the local breakfast, string hoppers with dhal curry and pol sambol, was made. I think that Eetu got a lot out of it and prepare at least the yummy dhal curry at home also. I can truly recommend Majestic Tourist Hotel in Kandy! Next to Arugam Bay! :)
